Need an Official Record?

Send the request to the Lincoln County or Colorado office that maintains the record:

  • Criminal records and rap sheets: use the Colorado Bureau of Investigation record channels
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 719-743-2846 or submit its records form
  • Official background checks: order a name check through CBI or use an approved CABS fingerprint vendor when fingerprints are required
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Adult sealing or juvenile expungement: use the correct Colorado Judicial form and file with the court that handled the case
